Automated reactions, replies and custom emojis

Open Slack & Workspace
In the sidebar, under Workspace, pick Slack & Workspace. Stay on the Slack tab.
Turn reactions and replies on or off
Automated reactions adds emoji reactions to each shoutout, birthday and anniversary message. Automated replies posts a short reply in each shoutout's thread.
Pick your own emojis
With Automated reactions on, switch on Custom emojis and click +. Pick standard emojis or your workspace's own, click Done, then Save changes. The bot picks from them at random.
Good to know
Pick at least 10 so reactions don't repeat. Until then the bot mixes in some of its standard emojis.A new custom emoji in Slack can take up to an hour to show up here.
