Turn off gift cards

In the sidebar, under Recognition, pick Rewards settings. On the Gift cards tab, switch off Allow gift cards. Click Save changes.

Set Reward approval to Manual or Automatic. In Automatic, Automatic approval limit still sends anything above that amount to an admin. In Manual, Admin self-approval lets an admin approve their own redemptions. Per-employee monthly redemption limit caps what one person can redeem in a month.

Open Members, search for the person and click Edit. Switch off Gift cards, then click Turn off gift cards. They keep their Coins.

They no longer see gift cards, pre-paid cards or donations in the Rewards catalog. If Enable company merch is on, they still see your company merch.
